Not all of the Human Resources are TLS Subscribers.
It's not a requirement. The significance of whether or not a
particular resource stays abreast of the latest news and techniques
by receiving The Last Straw Journal is for you to gauge.
On the other hand, some of these good people are not only Subscribers
but also Sponsors
and Web
Ads.
Many of the Human Resources listed here are professional builders,
architects, engineers, and consultants, who are willing and
eager to help. Please feel free to contact anyone on this list—but
we ask that you please respect their valuable time. It isn't
reasonable to expect anybody to do your thinking for you...unless
you're paying for it. Basic questions can easily be answered
through your own research. When you do come across questions
that you can't find answers to in any of the books, videos,
websites, or other resources...or if you decide to hire a professional...or
if you just want to introduce yourself and ask what their recommendations
for research or local contacts are...please give these folks
a call.
If there are no listings near you, that doesn't neccesarily
mean that you're all alone...it just means that you'll have
a more difficult (and possibly unsuccessful, unfortunately)
time finding that local architect, engineer, builder, or compadre.
We make an effort to identify qualified and knowledgeable human
resources and update this list each quarter.
